Ron Boyd  Landscape and figurative artist

"On the Path, Symond's Yat"

Ron lives and works in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire and spends part of each day in the forest allowing his ideas for paintings to develop from this experience.  Time and the seasons are integral elements in his work, as well as light, space, colour and capturing the textures of the landscape. Born in scotland Ron has won many awards for his work and has been exhibited widely in the Uk and abroad.  His paintings celebrate the landscape, along with its history and he has produced wonderfully evocative, atmospheric scenes which really capture the feel of the countryside.
