Kitchen Garden Preserves We have been making top quality jams, chutneys, marmalades and condiments under the kitchen garden preserves label since 1989 when Barbara Moinet cooked up her first batch of Blackberry and Apple Jam in the kitchen of her Gloucestershire cottage. The small town of Stroud, where the company is now based, has a long and honourable tradition of artisan manufacturing – cloth, beer, walking sticks – to name but a few. In the building that was formerly the Stroud Brewery, you will find a hive of activity amidst the sweet aroma of soft fruit and spices. True to the principles which Barbara used when she made her first batch of jam, we have never felt the need to change our production methods or compromise on quality for the sake of profit. Preserving fruit and vegetables in season for use throughout the year is a tradition that goes back centuries and our team of talented and enthusiastic cooks do it just the way it has always been done. We pride ourselves on the quality, integrity and originality of our products. Our range of fine hand made preserves; chutneys, jams, marmalades, sauces, mustards and dressings have been made with great care and attention to detail. Our range at Made In Gloucestershire includes many award winning jams and chutneys such as our Summer berry extra jam, Spiced tomato and apple chutney, Tewkesbury mustard, Organic Rough Cut Seville Orange Marmalade and Blackberry & Apple Extra and many others from our range of condiments, preserves, dressings and seasonal specials.
