Situated in bulls cross near the picturesque village of Painswick in Gloucestershire the stone studio aims to bring the warmth, tranquillity and colour of locally quarried limestone to the home and garden. Traditionally used for construction limestone with its characteristic colour lends itself to many traditional and contemporary shapes. Laid down 350 million years ago this limestone carries moments of natures evolution… said to harness energy in the home our small pieces compliment the garden, the kitchen and all throughout the house. Our lamp bases reflect colour and shape and in some the contrast can be between raw and smooth. Larger pieces can allow the stone to make a warm impact in the home. All our stone is treated with a washable and environmentally friendly proofing.
