Martyn Harwood Hand turned wooden pens made by Martyn Harwood using a traditional wood lathe. Each pen is individually crafted and styled and the wood grain on each is unique. Martyn used quality sustainable wood from the UK mostly Yew. The range includes roller ball, fountain and fine liner pens as well as pencils and they all come in clear presentation tube containing some information on their production. Chris Hill produces a variety of wood products- mostly turned from native trees. wherever possible these are sourced locally and he has a supply of cherry, oak, ash sycamore, stag horn, and cedar of lebanon which are all air dried and from the local area. He uses a variety of finishes to compliment the designs and potential uses of the products. There is a range from no finish to food safe products, oils and waxes. Chris has also experimented with inlays of crushed stone to enhance the appearance of 'plain' timbers and lime waxing on more open grained timber such as oak Phil Hinton Trading as "Green Forest", Phil works at Westonbirt Arboretum and uses wood sourced locally to make hand-turned bowls, unusual shelving, and rustic and garden furniture.
